Fishing From Snug Harbor

Ah, fishing! Whether you like to crab from the docks or go after salmon or bottom fish, Snug Harbor has it all. We will arrange your trip and even help you to select the correct tackle, and where the curent hot spot is located. The salmon run right by the bay, up the Haro Strait on the west side of the island. We have year round salmon fishing with Blackmouth in the winter, Chinook May through September, Kings in the Summer, Coho and Humpies alternate years from mid August through mid October. Bottom fishing is year round, with the specified season for Ling Cod from May 1 through mid June. Halibut season opens in early May closing early July. Check regulations for current seasons.
