There is so much to do on San Juan Island it is hard to decide where to start. We offer whale watching and kayaking tours daily from our docks. Snug Harbor is a great location to access all there is to do. Get out and explore the islands and return to enjoy the amazing sunsets and relax on the deck of your waterfront cabin.

Mayas Westside Charters

Crystal Seas offers 3-hour, sunset and full-day sea kayaking tours directly from Snug Harbor Resort on the west-side of San Juan Island, WA. Nestled between the snowcapped Cascade and Olympic Mountain Ranges, San Juan Island is a kayaker's paradise!
Witness orcas (killer whales), seals, porpoise, bald eagles, sea lions and much more while paddling along evergreen cloaked coastlines. Hiking & Trails
San Juan Island has many amazing hiking options. Mitchell Bay Hill is a great hike, very close to Snug Harbor Resort and offers panoramic views of the San Juan's. It is an ideal place for a picnic.
San Juan Islands Museum Of Art & Sculpture Park
The Sculpture Park is on the west side of the island overlooking Westcott Bay within walking distance of Roche Harbor, and the museum is located in Friday Harbor near the landing where ferries stop on their way to and from the Washington State mainland and Victoria B.C. on Vancouver Island.
San Juan Golf & Country Club
The San Jua 9 hole challenges. Motorized carts, handcarts and clubs are available to rent. PGA Professional Instrucn Golf Course is a 9-hole links style course open to the public, located on San Juan Island, Washington, and offering majestic views of neighboring islands and Mount Baker to the east. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels. With a variation of tees from the front nine to the back nine it measures out to a testy 6694 yards in length and it is easy to see why it is touted as one of Washington’s toughertion with grass tee practice areas are available. Snug Harbor guests can golf 18 holes for $35.00, 9 holes for $25.00 or twilight golf for $25.00.

San Juan Vineyards
The vineyard was planted in 1996; the old schoolhouse was renovated; and the journey began in developing San Juan Vineyards to be a destination winery producing wines that have received much acclaim since production began in 1999. All wines are produced and bottled at our winery on Roche Harbor Road.
